New beginnings
We’re halfway through January, so it’s a bit late for ‘Happy New Year’. But I trust 2008 is being kind to you so far.
Things are changing around here. I’ve parted ways (very amicably) with Authentic, but I’m writing for another album and looking forward to gigging again later in the year.
I’m doing a bit more production work this year, which is an interesting development, and means I get a bit more time at home. That’s good news as Baby Wheeler 2 is due to arrive sometime in May!
Good news all round.

Where did that one go?
It’s a familiar theme here in the UK, but the summer seems to have come and gone without letting anyone know. There were a few merciful rays of sunshine this weekend for the Greenbelt festival, which was, as usual, a brilliant time to catch up with all the friends you don’t see often enough, eat falafels and enjoy the music. My favourites this year were Dennison Witmer and Ric Hordinski. Go check them out!
I have a few dates coming up with Cathy Burton, so do come out and see us if we’re anywhere near you. If we’re not, then get in touch so we can come to where you are in the new year.

Summer is here...
...so we dusted off the barbeque and turned up the Neil Young this weekend. Everyone survived on both counts. There’s something about spending more time in the great outdoors that gets the creative juices flowing, so I’m now sitting in front of a long list of songs to finish.

And we’re back...
Well, I’ve finally got around to putting in the late nights required to revamp this website. So here you’ll find all kinds of updated information. From gigs and sessions I’m doing, new music, gear talk and quite possibly a few rants. You see, the chances are I’ll use this news page as a blogspot, because a) I think it’s a bit puffed up to describe what I’m up to as ‘news’, and b) otherwise I’ve got to add another page to the site and it took me long enough to settle on the ones I’ve got!
